Rice is the most widely consumed stapled food especially in China and Asia. Rice originates in the Pearl River valley region of China and was domesticated in the Yangtze River valley region. It then spread from East Asia, to Southeast and South Asia. Then from Western Asia, to America and finally reaches the European regions. Sound planning but a simple method traditional method to cultivate rice.
